Meet Jill,
Educator, Math Specialist
For over 25 years, Jill Milton has dedicated her career to helping students—and the teachers who support them—build confidence, skills, and a love for learning math. With a B.S. in Education from Bridgewater State University, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership from Fitchburg State University, Jill brings a deep knowledge of math instruction, coaching, and leadership to every student with whom she engages.
Jill holds Massachusetts certifications in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Math Education (Grades 1–6), along with principal licensure, and has served as a math specialist, coordinator, and coach in public schools across the South Shore. She’s passionate about making math accessible and empowering for young learners, using multi-sensory, concept-driven approaches that meet kids where they are—and move them forward.
When she’s not tutoring or leading professional development for teachers, Jill’s creativity takes a delicious turn: for more than 20 years, she’s been the owner and artist behind Jill’s Sweet Treats, her side business baking and decorating thousands of custom cookies for clients across the region. Combining her love of art and baking, Jill transforms cookies into edible works of art that delight both kids and adults.
At home in Pembroke, Jill loves hiking, camping, crafting, and spending time with her family. She’s been married to her husband, Jeff, for almost 30 years. She is a proud mom to Kara Jayne, an emergency room nurse currently working on a travel contract in Colorado. Her son, Vincent, is a heavy equipment operator and new dad. She is a proud mother-in-law to Cassie and loving grandmother to their son, William.
